Favorite school moment from any year: I was born in Nepal, so every day I wake up an American and not a Nepali earthquake victim or kidnapped by slave traders, that’s a good day. Compared to that, school is a breeze.
Give a shout out: My grandparents, who raised my parents so well, my sister who I love and love to pester, and to my mom and dad, who are giving me a chance to live a better life. And finally, to the man who risked his own life to pull me out of my war torn village in Nepal. I don’t know who you are, but you helped save my life.
Summer plans: Help build school buildings, creating a new online community, and have as much fun as possible.
Where are you headed this fall: Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott, Arizona to study Simulation Science and video game design.
If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: I want to try to look forward, not back, although supplanting Capt. Sparkles in 10 years would be good.
In 10 years you’ll be: Designing the flying cars they promised my dad when he was my age.
Favorite class ever: Ms. Atkinson’s and Ms. Van Campen’s kindergarten class.
Class you wish had been offered: A class called, “Why Romeo and Juliet and MacBeth are Ridiculous Plays.” Romeo is 15, Juliet is 13, they’re together three days are six people are dead. And the only memorable thing about MacBeth is the first-ever Shakespearean dog command, “Out Damned Spot!”

What are your plans this fall:This fall I will be attending the Colorado Mountain College in Leadville, CO.
If you are leaving Eagle County, what will you miss the most? The biggest thing I’m going to miss is, I think, my friends and my pets. Luckily I’m only going to be a semi-short car ride back.
In 10 years you will be: In ten years, I honestly don’t know what I’m going to be up to. I hope it’s fun though.
Favorite class ever: My favorite class that I’ve ever taken was probably a class that I had with Ms.Qualman called Just One of the Girls where at the end of the quarter we spent the night at the Edwards RCHS campus, got some dance lessons and watched movies.
Class you wish had been offered: I am incredibly content with the range of classes that I had to choose from. One class that would have been really cool to have is Astrology or something to do with the stars or something fun like that.

If you are leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: I think just the natural beauty of the area we live in. There’s so much nature to explore that you can’t find in many other places.

Favorite class ever: AP US History with Mr. Litowitz. It was the most challenging class I took, but it was a fun challenge and I learned a lot from it, plus I’ve always loved history.

Summer Plans: For the summer I will be working at the cordillera as a camp counselor. I also plan to travel to Texas, Mexico, and Hawaii.
Where are you headed this fall: I will be attending University of Colorado, Boulder. Studying communications, and then getting into a pre law program, and eventually into law school.
If you’re staying, what are you happiest about keeping? I’m very happy about staying in state. I will be close to all my family, also both my cousin and brother attend CU so I’m very excited about having them there with me!
In 10 yrs. where will you be? I will be a successful lawyer!
Favorite class ever: My favorite high school class would probably be DE Composition because it prepared me most for college.
Class you wish had been offered: I wish there was a class that taught kids how to do their taxes, and budget an account. Like a life skills class!

Summer plans: Welcome our baby girl Kaia into the world and take a family trip to Disneyworld!
What are your plans this fall: I want to attend CMC for basic fire training! But we’ll see if anything changes. There are so many options!
If you are leaving Eagle County, what will you miss the most? We’ll hopefully be moving to Florida after I earn a certificate. When that happens, I’ll miss the mountains and the smell of the river and trees in October, it always kind of smelt like cinnamon to me when I would walk by the river to get to school.
In 10 years you will be: Married to my high school sweetheart, in a nice house close to the beach with my two kids.
Favorite class ever: Any of Mr. Anderson’s classes. He’s always teaching something fun and interesting. And he’s so funny without even trying to be! And he shared his snacks with me!

Give a shout out: I have to say that the greatest gratitude goes to the Rotary Clubs of Vail and Edwards, which allowed me to live the best year of my life as an exchange student. And to my Rotary Club of Duitama in Colombia for sending me here. Summer plans: My plans are mainly to enjoy my last days of my exchange year with my host families and friends, watch the soccer world cup with them and probably play guitar for those wonderful people.
Where are you headed this fall: Return to my country (Colombia) and still living in Bogota. I will meet with old friends of my school and have a meeting with my family. Then, go to college and study medicine or something related to the human anatomy.
If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: All my friends that I made at school, my coaches, my host families, my great teachers at Battle Mountain High School, the crazy Colorado weather and the ski season that I had and that I will not forget.
In 10 years you’ll be: A doctor who cares about the health and well-being of his patients as a priority and also a great guitar and bass player in my free time

If you are leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: I have lived in two major cities, Los Angeles and New York City, but living in the mountains has opened my eyes up to a whole new way of living. I found a love for the outdoors and skiing. I appreciate every moment and the opportunity to grow up in such a small and tight-knit community.
In 10 years you will be: My goal in ten years is to be starting
my medical residency in the Army. I want to be serving my country and doing what I love.
Favorite class ever: My favorite class in high school was AP Calculus BC with Mr. Donalson. I was challenged in this class all year and it really made me have a love for problem solving and math.

My favorite school moment of any year: Growing up with the same kids since elementary school, I think it’s so cool to watch your friends and peers grow up beside you. It’s interesting to remember all my classmates when we were all in 1st or 2nd grade.
Give a shout out: Red Canyon High School staff because without them I wouldn’t appreciate school as much as I do now, and without them I probably wouldn’t have made it through high school at all. The staff here has a special place in my heart.

Favorite Moment: Had the opportunity to go rafting in the Grand Canyon this past summer, which I could say was probably one of the most memorable and awesome moments I have had.
Give a shout out: I would like to give a shout out first of all to my mom, dad, and sister for pushing me to the limits and helped me graduate. I would also like to give a shout out to my teachers but specially Mr. Beard who was my AVID teacher for four years he definitely pushed our class and motivated to do our best always, he was one of the best teachers I have had and always will be.

Favorite school moment from any year: After losing my spot at the State tournament for tennis last year, the long bus ride home from Grand Junction could have been a long, sad one but it was rather the opposite. With help from a speaker and some High School Musical we danced and sang the entire way home, definitely making me forget the hard loss.

Give a shout out: I would like to thank my family for standing by me no matter what. They raised me to be the person I am today and how to be an independent woman. I would also like to thank my Choir teacher, Alexandra Trosper for these past two years. If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t have been inspired to study music in college or come out of my comfort zone with my singing and acting. Also, to thank my dog Cyrus for being the best dog anyone could ask for!
Summer Plans: This summer I will be mainly working to save up for college. I hope to continue working for Brain and Eileen Hall in their theater company and with their other events. I will also be traveling to Denver many times for concerts, last senior moments before college, and to have fun times with friends!

If you are leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: I’ll miss my family and all the memories that have been made in this valley. I loved growing up here and am excited to visit once I move to Denver. The mountains will always hold a special place in my heart and I hope to one day bring my children here to show them all the amazing places I got the pleasure of living and growing up in.
In 10 years you will be: In 10 years, I hope to be a manager in the music scene of any place that I end up in. I hope to be successful in my career and most of all, happy with my life.
Favorite class ever: My favorite class by far would have to be choir. When I was a scared, little freshman, the choir room would always be my escape. I got to do what I love to do every day. The past four years, my choir class has taught me that no matter who graduates every year, we will always be connected as a family. My closest friends have come from this one class and my fondest memories will forever be with my choir family.
Class you wish had been offered: I wish that a beginner French class had been offered my freshman year. After trying to be French for the recent musical BMHS put on, I fell in love with learning the language on my own. It would have been very interesting to have learned the language and culture freshman year.

Favorite school moment from any year: There was this one time three of my friends and I were arguing over what was a better name for a kid. One of my friends and I agreed Paco was a nice name, meanwhile the other two hated it. We were standing in the middle of the hall screaming at each other as we heard the late bell ring. All of us immediately stopped arguing, stared at each other for three seconds and simultaneously turned in each direction and left without another word. It probably doesn’t sound that funny, but it was exactly like a movie and has me laughing every time I think about it.
Give a shout out: Shout out to my parents and two brothers for dealing with my sarcasm and annoying habits that have consumed me this last year. But a bigger shout out to my dogs and the office for keeping me out of trouble and in my bed.

Give a shout out: I would like to give a shout out to my Mom, Dad, Aunt Leslie, Uncle Kurt, Chris, Courtney, and Andrew. I’m going to miss living so close to all of you when I go off to college even though Fort Collins is only three hours away.
Summer plans: Staying at home this summer for the first time after working at summer camps for the past three summers.
Where are you headed this fall: This fall I am going to Colorado State University to major in chemical engineering with a minor in environmental engineering.
If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: I am going to miss being minutes away from the ski hill.In 10 years you’ll be: In 10 years I will hopefully be making a comfortable amount of money doing a job that I will enjoy because of its application of physics, chemistry, and mathematics.
Favorite class ever: My favorite class ever has either been Chemistry or Environmental Science with Mr. Stralendorff.
Class you wish had been offered: A class that I wish had been offered here is AP Physics: Algebra based, it would allow me to get credits for a college class here at high school for physics which I do enjoy.

Favorite moment from any year: My favorite moment was attending “The Women’s Foundation of Colorado, Together” speech by Michelle Obama last summer. She is someone I admire and look up to, not only because of her accomplishments as a first lady, but also her own career as a lawyer and support for women.
Give a shout out: Shout out to my parents for putting up with me and to my older brother for being an amazing role model. Also, to everyone in school, who I wish the best!
Summer plans: All I want from this summer is long, warm days on the beach volleyball courts and blue skies on the many wonderful Colorado lakes to go paddleboarding.
Where are you headed this fall: I’m going to be staying in the Vail Valley to take advantage of Colorado Mountain College’s two-year program.
If you are staying, then what are you happiest about keeping: I am excited to keep the nature at close proximity and also all of the beautiful hikes that are close by, also the friendly community and neighbors that makes the Vail Valley such a pleasant place to live.
In 10 years I will be: I hope to be living on my own, working for one of the many growing companies in the valley. With a puppy (whose name remains undecided) going on daily hikes and supporting local children’s programs. While traveling from my home country to Colorado and visiting my family and friends and exploring the many unique countries such as Italy, Rome and Morocco.
My favorite class: My favorite class was DE Biology with Caudill, because of how in-depth the class went into biology and how helpful it was in other classes later on. Caudill made the class fun and interesting and was a great teacher. He was invested in his students, while focused teaching one of the most difficult classes there is to offer.
A class I wish had been offered: A class I would have found very helpful would be one where basic knowledge such as taxes, balance a check book, budgeting and other important, useful skills.
